OVL – CAPEX Re-Estimate for the Farzad B Gas Field. As part of performing an update to the Master Development Plan for the Farzad B gas field, located in the Farsi Block in Gulf waters, EPEn has prepared an update to the original CAPEX Estimate for the full field development project. The block has an area of about 3500 sq km in water depths ranging from 20-90m. The development includes production wells, offshore platforms, inter-field pipelines, export pipeline, receiving facilities, onshore plants, marine terminal, etc. The gas contains substantial portions of nitrogen (N2), carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen sulphide (H2S). As part of the Re-estimate EPEn also identified significant concept optimisation opportunities.
